With the lecture series "Wie erinnern: Nationalsozialismus und Rassismus im Lokalen" in the summer semester 2024, we at the University of Bayreuth would like to stimulate dialogue on the aims and methods of historical remembrance - especially in the local area.  The series of events will discuss cultures of remembrance, memorial work and Nazi ideology with experts from the University of Bayreuth and guests from Germany and abroad.
